Lawn Renovation Program
If your lawn is is a patchwork of bad grasses and weeds, a complete Lawn Renovation might be the best option for you. This is a great way to start an organic based program and will result in a much greener, thicker lawn with a more uniform appearance.
STEP 1: Core Aeration
This is process will help decompact soil and bring soil plugs to the surface for better seed soil contact.
STEP 2: Slice-Seeding
This is the process of slicing the seed directly into the ground.
STEP 3: Starter Fertilizer
A balanced slow release starter fertilizer will be applied to give the newly seeded lawn the nutrients needed to get established.
How to care for your Lawn Renovation
STEP 1: WATER
You’ll need to water a new lawn to get it established. Light frequent watering is recommended to keep the soil moist. Once the new seed is more established then deeper watering will be recommended for deeper root development. Be care to not overwater and wash seed out.
STEP 2: WAIT
We’ll come back towards the end of Fall for your next lawn treatment and check on your lawn and add some more nutrients.
STEP 3: SPRING CHECK UP
With our basic Lawn program, we’ll check in Spring to see how the lawn is progressing. You’ll probably have a few winter annual weeds that will go away on their own soon.
STEP 4: REGULAR TREATMENT & ENJOYMENT
Your new lawn will be looking pretty good and getting better throughout the Spring. Regular treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart are essential to help it grow in.
